day7,8,9

Day7 started off well, then I had 2 beers, wings and TONS of sushi at the Super Bowl Party. I didn't go to the gym on Sunday to give my body a day of rest.

I've eaten healthy the last 2 days and have done an hour on the elliptical each day plus my usual pull ups and sit ups. Weighed 219 on Monday and 217.6 today. I'm going to make my lunch tonight so I'm not rushed in the morning.

day5

I've been able to eat healthy here and there but never more than a week straight over the past 2 years. Skipping breakfasts and not packing a lunch has caused me to stop at some fast food places to get a quick bite to eat. It's hard to drive past a Chik Fil A or Taco Bell when you're hungry. Andy Nelson's is my favorite followed by Pasta Mista. Can't forget BOP or H&M's. Many a time I've realized my eating was out of control, so I would tell myself I could eat one last really good meal before I started a diet. I would order a huge meal usually the least healthy thing on the menu and swallow everything down in 5 minutes. My stomuch would tell me I was totally full yet I would still eat because the food was yummy and made me happy. I think I tried this like a hunded times. My goal is to eat better size portions of natural foods. I don't want to be embarassed to take my shirt off any more. I want to be in the same shape I used to be in when I met Lauren. I'm feeling pretty motivated this time around. I weighed 218.5 at the gym today.

My goal is to weigh 200 pounds. I clocked in at 219.6 before my workout and 221.0 after my workout. I've had trouble sticking to a healthy eating and exercise program. That's why I'm writing this blog, the thought that my daily decisions are public might force me to make better decisions.

day2

This blog is not intended to be read by others. Who would want to read about what I'm eating? Everybody has their vices, some smoke, some drink, some shop, but for me it's been food. It's a tough addiction because you must eat something to survive. You can quit smoking cold turkey but you can't quit eating cold turkey. (mmmm turkey) Anyways, had to be at work at 3am today so I had non fat Greek yogurt, blackberries, granola bar, and some apple slices for breakfast. For lunch I had a chicken and spinach wrap and some grape tomatoes. I had a protein shake and a Wasa wheat crisp bread with a dab of guacamole after the gym. For dinner I'm having a herb roasted chicken Lean Cuisine. At the gym, I ellipticalled for 45 minutes and did some bench press not to mention the pullups and situps I do every time I go. Weighed 219.1 on the gyms scale.

start

Here's a blog, I'm using as a food and exercise journal. Yesterday I went to the gym and weighed in at a whopping 223 pounds, that's before my sisters birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
Today I had a bowl of Kashi cereal for breakfast. Two cups of coffee throughout the day. Lunch was rushed. I only ate some almonds, v8 low sodium, some dried apricots, a banana, and a Kashi granola bar. For dinner I had a Trader Joe's Chicken Vindaloo. I put in 45 minutes on the elliptical today at the gym. Weighed in at 220, probably should have drank some more water. I've got a little cold and the Nyquil is starting to kick in, Goodnight.
